Welcome to the new website of The Textile Institute’s Sustainable, Environmental, and Ethical Special Interest Group. We are only just in the process of putting together the group and hope that this site will become a valuable resource to all textile professionals - sharing success stories as well as documenting questions.
The site contains information sources which we are happy to add to, so if you feel you have a book title, or website that would be useful to other people, please let us know. Part of the site is the ongoing forum, the topics are open to everyone to read and use as a resource for information. If you would like to make a comment or have a question you need an answer to, you must be a member of The Textile Institute. (For more information on the Institute use the links in the box). Membership of the Sustainable, Environmental, & Ethical SIG (SEE SIG) is open to all Textile Institute members but everyone will need to register in the forum.
Until we have a committee in place for the SEESIG we will not be able to go live with the forum but you can sign up and we’ll let you know as soon as we’re live.
